DJ Bounce (Eston)

Eston, commonly known as "Bounce" amongst the Perth DJ elite, has over 18 years experience in the industry and over 22 years in the craft of DJing. He has a strong passion for quality Neo-soul, Golden Era Hiphop, Smooth R&B and Lovers Rock Reggae, as well as a high appreciation for Motown, Funk and Disco classics. 

His residencies range from maintaining long-term commercial pub gigs at legendary Perth hotels such as The Aberdeen and The Leederville, to holding down huge Urban club nights at some of Perth's biggest clubs including The Library and Metro City, to currently spinning funk soul and rare grooves alongside some of Perth's most popular bars including The Queens, The Print Hall and Wolf Lane. 

He has DJ'ed Internationally in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia and has also supported International Artists of the likes of Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Jeremih, Ja Rule, Eve, Ashanti, Mya and Naughty By Nature.

DJ Leche (Lesdter)

Lesdter, otherwise known as "Leche" (pronounced "Leh-cheh) is a hard working force within the DJ circuit. The youngest DJ on the Soul Sound roster, Leche represents that new skool flavour, however do not be fooled by this freshman. 

As a music connoisseur, Leche has a deep appreciation for all things funky and creates a unique mash-up of styles when he is rocking a dance floor. With over 9 years of experience of club and mobile DJing, combined with his studies at SAE and a very musical upbringing, Leche is best decribed as professional, technical and authentic. Being of South American origin, he is heavily influenced by Latino music and infuses this sound with his passion for quality R&B, Hiphop and Reggae. 

He has played at popular venues around Perth such as Crown Casino, Metros Concert Club, Metropolis Fremantle, The Monastery, Flawless, Voyeur and the Claremont Hotel, and has also DJ'ed at large scaled events including The ANZ Christmas Party at Ascot, The City to Surf Expo at PCEC and the Grand Opening of Kripsy Kreme in Whitfords.

DJ Slick (John)

John, more popularly known as "DJ Slick", is one of Perth's hardest working DJs with a strong passion for mashing up urban music with other genres. A DJ in high demand, Slick has a strong fan base here in Perth and understands the pure exhilaration it takes to connect to every listener in the crowd.

Slick's love and passion for music is evident through his original productions of genre blending remixes that are guaranteed to fill dance floors. These signature mash-ups are praised and used by DJs worldwide from London to New York, and it is highly likely you have 'gotten down' to a "Slick Mix" yourself. 

Slick has been a motive force in Perth's Urban Music Scene, being highly involved in "RnB Bounce" Perth's first Urban radio show on Fairfax Media's 96fm and also creating "Shake Underaged Events" which showcased some of Perth's finest nightclub DJs to the youth of Perth. 

With over 20 years of experience, Slick has played at a long list of venues around Perth, including Varga Lounge, Metro City, The Stables Bar, The Library, Villa and Eve at Crown Casino, just to name a few. 

On a larger scale, Slick has supported an impressive list of Performing Artists including Rappers 50 cent, Ice Cube, DMX, Snoop Dogg and Nelly; R&B singers such as Kelly Rowland, Akon, Boyz 2 Men, Kci & Jojo and Montell Jordan; and Pop sensations of the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Maulboy, Havana Brown and the Far East Movement. He has also performed across Australia, playing in Karratha, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and has toured throughout Asia, headlining in Bali, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

DJ Eff Sharp (Fred)

If your looking for a DJ who can mash up genres and cater for young and old - look no further than Eff Sharp!

Eff Sharp (Fred) is a self taught musician who from young could easily pick up music by ear. Learning the guitar at the age of 12, he created a high school band known as “Figure 23” providing lead vocals, guitar as well as songwriter.

Figure 23 played various shows around Perth including a West TV Christmas special in 2012. The band also released two albums “Delete the Negative, Ignore the Hate” in 2009 and “Not a Hero” in 2013.

In 2012, Fred created the “Eff Sharp” project which showcases his original production as well his love for mixing music of all genres and creating fun vibes!

Over the past decade Eff Sharp has played many different events and occasions from Weddings to 21st Birthdays, to gyms and schools balls. Eff sharp has just about covered them all and is highly experienced and professional in what he loves to do, which is bringing the party!

DJ Yanique (Yannick)

Yannick, or ‘Yanique’ has been in the entertainment industry for almost 20 years. Coming from the tropical island of Mauritius, he has a passion for mixing the east with the west, the classics and the new, the retro 70s/80s and the melodic house remixes of today, creating soulful, unique and sensual beats that either make you groove in your seat or grind on the dance floor. This major eclectic loves everything from The Supremes to Sergio Mendez, from the B52’s to 50cent. Tropical house, RNB, Disco, Dance Anthems… If it has a beat, Yannick probably even has a choreography to it as well!

Yannick has been running Yanique Dance Fusion since 2007. As well as dancing for a variety of International Artists, he has also conducted dance classes around Europe, US, Tahiti, Asia, Australia and the UK. He was selected as a specialised choreographer and education specialist for two of todays biggest dance fitness programs, Zumba and Bokwa Dance Fitness, and is even an avatar on the Zumba XBOX Kinect video game!

Apart from his diverse experience in the dance and entertainment industry, Yannick is also a broadcaster on RTR-FM on Wednesdays, as well as a TV Journalist for WTV’s, weekly current affairs program “Undercurrent”. He is also the creator of the most interactive social event “K’Lypso! Carnaval Dance Parties” which comprises of usually, 30 performers, including dance groups, instructors and guest DJs. This mammoth operation is fun and games for Yannick, as he not only organises and hosts the event, but he also DJs, choreographs the shows, performs with The CocoPetals and leads the interactive classes, between sets!

DJ Yanique has brought his unique flavour to venues such as Voyeur Bar, Aberdeen Hotel, Badlands Bar, Prince Lane Rooftop Bar, as well as The Reveley Rooftop Bar at the Elizabeth Quay, and The Boardwalk at Mindarie Marina. He is also a regular guest at the “Spank Pool Party” at the Indian Ocean Hotel and has taken his DJing internationally, playing at the new Embassy Night Club at Hard Rock Hotel Bali!

DJ Dips (Dipana)

Dipana, or Dips as she is known to her friends, has been DJ-ing for over 10 years. A self-confessed extrovert, Dips is always the life of the party and loves bringing the dancefloor to life with her skills behind the decks.

Growing up in South Africa before re-locating to Perth, Dips has grown up around music, whether it be RnB, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, as well as Bhangra and Bollywood - she has real love for the old school, yet stays up to date with the latest tracks!

Her diverse knowledge of music has translated into being the “go-to” chick for a wide variety of gigs, including events at Baxter’s Supper Club and The Melbourne Hotel in Perth’s CBD.

Whether it be turning up the heat at an 18th birthday, or helping celebrate a milestone 60th, to playing a late night RnB set in a nightclub setting or entertaining guests at a very traditional wedding ; Dips is sure to catch the right vibe for your own special event.
